We are pleased to present two visiting artists, Jo Cole from UK and Jette Kristensen from Denmark.  Join us on Friday 7 February 2019 from at 3 pm, at the john Knight Cinema for an introductory talk by the two visiting artists in residency.

Jette, studied at the The Royal Danish Academy of fine art, she uses video, sound, text and photography. Her work is rooted in investigations around everyday life, human relations, family structures, which perspective universal subjects, as history, time, identity, the human existence, the cultural and social background and the relation between the individual and the surrounding society.

Jocelyn,  studied at Norwich University of the Arts she works and lives in Norwich UK. She is looking at the idea of “Invasion”. This is something that crosses boundaries, cultures, political endeavours, plants and animals etc. her work is experimental using natural materials like plants, clay, street debris etc.  Painting is always part of my repertoire using egg with pigment as my medium base and clay and fabric are often prominent contributions to the visual content.

Limited seating, confirm your attendance by emailing c.zulu@nationalgallery.co.zw or call 292270721
