We are happy to invite you to the second Bulawayo Art and Craft Fair 2017, We are transforming the traditional model of the ‘Craft Fair’ to a curated event presenting emerging artists, craft makers and designers an opportunity to benefit from this prestigious creative space at a professional level. THE FAIR reassures a solid base of direct interactions with locals and visiting international clients in a friendly environment.
Special features of the Fair will include a series of open-studios, as well as a Bulawayo Conversations. A Khula Udweba Kids Art attack exhibition and The Basket Case II exhibition in the small galleries on Main. Namuhla yisikhathi esadlulayo solo exhibition by Visiting International Artist in residence Andreas Wutz -showing in the Small galleries on Takawira Ave. 3oth Visual Artists Annual Exhibition in the Marshall Baron gallery, including crafts and and fashion from various groups from Bulawayo. on Saturday 22 April we will present a live Band from 6pm to 8pm the fees for the fair will be USD 1$ for the locals $5 for non Zimbabwean Visitors, and from 5pm on Saturday the Fee will be USD 3$ for the live band.
The Craft FAIR will be held at Douslin House (Home of the National Gallery) from April 21 -23 April 2017. The official exhibition opening will be done on 22 April 2017.
